Clients Challenged Us...
to develop a miniature feeder. They wanted it to be reliable and economical to get parts, like these, to manual assembly.
Results: A stepper elevator gets parts from a 1/4 cubic foot bin to a straight-line vibratory orientor. Live feed tracked parts move to a one-at-a-time escapement which counts them into a tray for manual batch removal.
The stepper is air cylinder powered. Electrical input is 115v; stepped down to 24v for control.
Sensors let the on-board computer control all actions to get the required piece count, on-time, for each cycle.
A similar feeder is fitted with a dual path discharge escapement to get a pair of Rivets (see parts below scale) through vertical tubes and shuttle them for automatic assembly.
Sound Pressure: 60Db (A) approx.
Spectrum standard, Model MS-325, is tooled for your part(s).
